Cuando se habla de miniaturas solemos referirnos a primorosas pinturas o esculturas de pequeño size, but I think it also applies to the short poems in words but big in their messages.
And also must have thought that Charles Cano and Carlos Garcia when titrated and the book just published.
Both have long been writing poems in different styles in their blogs, but surprisingly for the first book I decided to publish jointly selected short poems and rhymes using metrics similar to those of traditional poetry Japanese.
always interesting to talk with the author of a book and in this case we are fortunate that both Charo (Darilea) as Carlos (Meigen, apprentice druid) , kindly agreed to grant me an interview.
To start I am writing to ask how both prefer that I address to them why the real name or most well-known that they use in their blogs?
Carlos - Carlos, I put my mother was Meige Charo. Both women (in different ways) have exerted a major influence on me. I'm both, but my name is Carlos.
Charo - I do not care if you use one or the other, many years using this pseudonym.
clarified this point step to the next question. According to the back of the book all the poems that compose it are a collection of writing that you were over five years, what led you to decide precisely for this style of short poems?
Charo - was pure chance, I'll tell you ... One day I gave him the surprise Carlos have collected some of his haiku and tanka which was planted by the network.
friend Carlos also has been a teacher for me, brought me a lot in the world of letters, among them, like a good stew marinate a poem. So I set out to do a book in which recogiésemos some of our favorite hobby writing thoughts.
Charo now I ask Is this the first book to publish?
Charo - No, not the first book. It is the fourth.
The first time I posted was a collaboration on "Days of sunshine" my second book of poems "Recreation in the wind" and the third story book "Let me tell you something" both literary collaboration with the Recreation Association.
As for you Charles, I have heard that it's the first to see the light is not it?
Carlos - As a book, in my case, yes. I worked in magazine publishing poems. I also collaborated on a cookbook. My other great hobby. But it is my first publication.
all know that to publish is very complicated and expensive and that publishers are not too many facilities to starting Publish this book was actually so difficult?
Charo - actually give no facilities, and like most poetry sabéisla is not very profitable so we opted for the easy option: desktop publishing using Bubok for publication. The hardest thing was the layout of the book as being the first time, I had some problems fitting the measurements. And I take this opportunity to publicly my sincere thanks to Santiago Tena to lend their collaboration in the preface of our book.
What led you to publish this book together rather than publishing them separately?
Charo - We wanted to share poetry on the net plus on something palpable, and what better than a book, to collecting a friendship that continues to grow over the years.
In the first part of the book contains the work of Charles under the title "Splinters in time" and I think that is a reality, shrapnel in the form of simple phrases or short poems, but in both cases full of feeling. We know that feelings are many and varied, but love your cousin works?
Charo - Yes, cousin love, because for me the love that makes the axis of the world, and I do not mean just the love between man and woman, but love everything that goes on around us, love life is to love yourself and that love will always be reciprocated. Giving love is to receive joy.
Do you think it is easier to write about the happiness that is supposed to give love, or sadness that usually occur?
Charo - Happiness is more difficult to write, perhaps because happiness is easier to convey the sadness for me is like a small package in which guards you and solitude of the night is easier to give free rein on paper. The complicity of silence and night are good allies to aerate the sadness of love, or any cause that occurs.
Carlos - I do not think it's easier or more difficult.
I wish you answer me this question two it is possible that the answer is different. Write about any feelings in poetry need not necessarily be a reflection of personal experiences, we can write not feel happy about laughter and tears without being sad. "In your case, it is always enclose your poems or something personal?
Charo - smiled as he listened to your question, because there are many occasions that after receiving supportive comments I had to explain that was a movie, a song, a picture or something that has happened to me about what hit the switch to my other self is like vomit and I have to throw, it's time to be. Since there are many nights when I woke up to write what rages inside me. To me poetry is a state of mind and anything can influence the result.
Carlos - Writing is, for me, drawing a moment or a moment, true or imaginary, on paper, and the shape and color rather than lines are letters, Joy and sorrow are the true balance of life. Weighs more a day, another day is equal and sometimes outweighs the other.
Interestingly all these little poems are preceded by a phrase that sometimes can be interpreted as a title, others like an autograph, others as an explanation to help understand to whom it may concern the message. Whose idea was it?
Charo - think at first Macro Photo accompany the poems, but when printing costs rose, so bring them Carlos thought a clarification, because as most will know specifically the Japanese haiku poetry accompanied by a photograph.
Carlos - Everything we talked and I have this habit. All my poems have a reference, as a title.
The second part of the book corresponds to the work of Carlos he chose the title "Roads of my soul" and is well described in the sentence that leads to the first of the poems, which reads: "Sometimes we miss the simple, the roads we travel closer and looking foolish so there is no .... "ways of your soul these are the ones who travel alone?
Carlos - S on the roads each we have to go to ourselves and our loneliness. She is our everlasting lover and most loyal confidant. She is the author of our greatest works and major decisions.
When talking about a book should not be disclose its contents as it would like taking the magic, but if you can show small touches that show us what it can find and encourage us to enter their reading. And that's what I'll do next.
"From chips in time" Charo
Adding love
When two make one, there is error, is love.
I want, I want
That margarita
whispered his name,
and sheltered from the wind
echo repeated ....
With autumn ...
Fallen leaves.
sow death, life
for tomorrow.
From "Roads of my soul" by Carlos
A small tribute to those who born

innocent Work
of twisted screeds. Lives
rights of desires and cravings pregnant
smiles.
Doubting myself, I realized that I
Live
survive in my
as air and sky
in space
delusions and feelings,
love and forgetfulness.
sometimes as simple and as complex ...
As the sea water,
is
tear rolling on your cheek.
And I would like to close this interview with a note that the authors put at the end of the book and reads:
Meige A teacher once told a of his classes: "Dreams are the reality principle"
C on it refers to his own dream of publishing a book a few years ago seemed impossible thing, but it was the dream of two people that eventually were turned into reality.
I wish you success with the book and congratulate you for not having surrendered to the difficulties.
