I Want My Tits Cut Off

punishing the International Brigades

corrienteroja bring this letter of protest over a government move Polish.

As you know this country succumbs to the law of the pendulum: the communist past to the opposite extreme, ultra-right or fascist (yes, yes i know the Nazis invaded but it seems to have forgotten).

His latest bright idea has been to remove the pension to the brigade Poles who fought against fascism. The government tries to erase all traces of anti-communism or fascism. To do so is by attacking those who fought for freedom. Therefore, if you agree to report this fact to sign this letter and send it to the Polish embassy:

Dear Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Madrid:

I hereby express my strongest protest against the measures that the chancellor of the Republic of Poland intends to take against the Polish volunteers Brigades International. Economically, it will eliminate pension of ninety years old, mean age of the very few survivors, and ignoble decision reprisals reminiscent of totalitarian regimes.

As regards the historical memory, I remember that the Poles went interbrigadistas Spain to defend freedom and democracy, threatened in Spain by the military coup and throughout Europe for international fascism supported the rebels. Wanting to erase the historical memory of Poland, the presence of international volunteers from the Brigade Dombrowsky is wanting to remove some of Poland's democratic past and common heritage of English-Polish.

It is also a futile effort, because historical memory is tough. In Spain, the memory of the Polish brigade, like all international withstood forty years to return more strongly with the regained democracy. English society has repeatedly Sometimes its gratitude and appreciation to the International Brigades, starting with the granting of nationality by the English Congress of Deputies in 1995

All democratic government should contribute to this effort, keeping the historical memory of those who left their homeland and family to defend freedom.

In this regard, I appeal to the Polish government to reconsider the alleged actions against Polish volunteers of the International Brigades.

Sincerely,
