Analysis of TeleMadrid on Castilian in Catalonia

I've seen the documentary TeleMadrid issued on 9 March. I summarized my views on the same end, but first I want to point out a few things.

Castilian in Catalonia is not pursued, he said the same Rajoy and Josep Piqué says now .

elmundo So why TeleMadrid and continue by going to the opposite? The documentary issued on Monday leaves you with that feeling and giving "arguments" and misinformation to believe in that version. Why?

There are several possible reasons. Political

: generate a hostile climate in people makes them easier to manipulate, drives to the most important things. Unemployment, wage levels, ipc, health, infrastructure reached, etc. Furthermore when another community asks for something it is easier to mobilize people (even if what lies have) to reject such requests. And what is not going to Catalonia it is mostly mothers. Cultural

: Attacking a culture is a way to defend your own.

My opinion on the matter is that Catalonia has suffered forty years of dictatorship which was not allowed to use their language. In a democracy you are trying to restore the status quo and protect the Catalan. Like any child of his mother would do with their culture, English, English, etc. The citizens of Catalonia have voted for parties that defend these ideas. And now emerging from the station church a political party to create a groundswell of opinion that has no impact on the whys of protecting a culture (Catalan) but the most controversial measures taken to it. His motives to gain power and in turn end up permanently weakening of Catalan culture as a means of homogenizing the culture of the state. With great contempt missing a past of history and culture as the Catalan.

All these attacks should not distract us from what really matters. Pressuring politicians for what really affects us. Social problems.

I like I can speak Castilian in Catalonia whatever I want and I have enough education so that if someone speaks in Catalan I answered in Catalan. No more. That's the only story here.

Analyzing the documentary my impressions are:

short speech to show the message you want

For example, the teacher will explain that because education is necessary Catalan.

The documentary tries to touch the emotions, rather than a serious debate and show all points of view: Music

distressing. Music
matrix
reinforcing the feeling of fighting against the system. Images

Kope-borroka (when these events are practically stories in Catalonia).

They take examples of people who will not adapt to local culture and show their point of view as laudable.
Madrid
If someone from outside does not adapt, it is just as worthy an example?

Carmelo Gonzalez, Canario in Catalonia. Schooling her daughter in an English school before in public education where it is Catalan.

words, as not going to give all classes in the Castilian prefers to den in a language other than Catalan. Compositions

twisted:

Carmelo comment on the case was presented to the Government to protest and say they only received insults at your request. Insults (that should not occur) of people but not the Generalitat.Y as remarked Carmelo attitude does not deserve insults but it is commendable not want to understand you with those who lived there. Questions

taken out of context and distorted responses:

-teens asked if they know there is a dictionary Castilian q,

-we have not yet reached who did

conclusion of the interviewer, the student does not know that there is a dictionary of Castilian.

Other children:

Ent "When you talk in your language that you say? Child-nothing

Child2 Parla-not your language (do not talk in your language)

conclusion: We tell children not to talk in their language and speak Catalan.

Specific examples extrapolated to the general. Phrases

manipulated to hide that Castilian is spoken in the street and the children to master:

Those who come from outside should forget the Castilian.

show specific schools where all instruction is in Catalan but not talk about that there are schools where they study only in Castilian and have no problem.

Forgetting the context of the problems

In my see the rulers claim that Catalan is the language back to the place as before. And so they want to be in public, on the street. Necessary.

documentary that nevertheless speaks Catalan want to impose by force. No talk of restoring the old normal. Or anything like that.

derogatory phrases illogical looking for a striking effect even though they are far from the truth: Is

Castilian endangered?

o_O They have to learn another language ... Correcting

drifts. Separate

as plague ... Even

post had to undergo and adapt to the demands that forced him to enter the Catalan even in the mailboxes of the street.
constantly
The documentary uses the formulas: the imposition of the Generalitat Catalan forces instead of referring to the defense of a culture or non-discrimination language.

The football has not been free of revenge raging nationalist Catalonia. Citizens

threatened.

The conclusion (final sentence of the documentary): A society faced navigating between two languages, Castilian speaking or speaking in Catalan.

There can be nothing wrong to conclude. No matter what the interviewees say. The documentary concludes that there is a kind of war. Err on the street, in Catalonia, people can talk what they want. And the aim is also to meet everyone Castilian, Catalan as well known. And someone who speaks Catalan should not stop speaking their language systematically in their land because they do not know. It is about defending the culture. Or is that Mr. documentary is against defending their culture or is it that the way to defend it, attacking other cultures, creating movements against other people?

is not speaking Catalan or Castilian. This is all to be understood in either language. And if the documentary could not understand this it has not wanted to. Hence the bad faith with which they acted.
